IT crash hits Virgin Blue |
MORE than 1000 passengers at Sydney Airport last night queued for hours after a computer glitch crashed Virgin Blue's check-in desk.
The computer reservation system shut down from 7pm and staff were forced to fall back on manual checking in.
An airport source said the nationwide glitch left about 1000 passengers at Sydney waiting up to two hours to get cleared for their flights.
Virgin Blue spokeswoman Amanda Bolger said a "brief outage" with the reservations system caused delays.
