Online networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook are becoming increasingly popular breeding grounds for identity theft, security executives say.
As spam blockers improve capabilities and shut identity thieves out of e-mail systems, social networking sites become a more attractive venue for hackers, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
It is reported that thieves are preying on Internet users' trust within relaxed social networks.
